Team Blue or Team Pink?!?
This session was my third time with the Sarcone Family, and I have been so privileged to work with them. I have actually feel blessed to become very good friends with them and have my mommy and me minis last year to thank for it. This time, we decided to head to the Haddam Meadows for a gender reveal, and Meagan, Phil, Emilia, and Johnathan were just so happy to be a part of this session. I also can’t gush enough about how much I love this area; the river against the lush grass makes for a perfect spot for a summertime shoot.
Before the big reveal, we spent some time playing with Mom, Dad, and the two littles. Anyone who has done a photoshoot with a bunch of toddlers know that attention spans are little, and thats why I love, love, love capturing every families lifestyle. The images of Phil and Meagan carrying Johnathan and Emilia on their shoulders is just that, real life ; Jonathan was in the zone doing so and found it hilarious to put his hands over Dad’s eyes, and just look at Emilia’s sweet little bow. Connections, connections, connections!
My favorite part of every session is the quilt! Johnathan and Emilia had fun wrestling with each other… and a little bit with mom and dad too. I’m pretty sure Meagan got a few little feet to the head. We took a small break so Emilia could come retrieve her stuffed horse from my bag, as mom, dad, and big brother looked on. This moment became one of my favorite captures of her.
But, we all know why we were here: the big reveal! We had a box full of balloons ready to go. Mom and Dad opened the flaps with some help from the littles and….
It’s a boy!
Johnathan was especially excited to be getting a baby brother; just look at how he threw his arms up in excitement, he was dead set that it was going to be a boy and he couldn’t have been happier. Emilia had just as much fun playing with the balloons, and didn’t seem to care either way the gender as long as she had those balloons. This little boy will be a joyous addition to this family, and I am so excited to meet him. Congratulations again to the Sarcones!
